The ACCUPRO 12277195 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 0.07 inches in diameter with a 0.105-inch length of cut (LOC), this tool is built for fine-detail work in tight geometries and small-feature cavities. The four-flute, single-end configuration with a 30-degree right-hand helix provides balanced cutting action and efficient chip evacuation. Micrograin carbide construction gives it the rigidity and edge retention needed for high-tolerance work in tool-and-die, mold making, and precision machining environments. Machinist and CNC operators specify this style of end mill when contoured surfaces and radius floors are required.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with a 1/8-inch collet or chuck. It is suited for small-feature profiling, slotting, and contouring passes in prototype work, mold cavities, and intricate part geometry. The miniature series designation makes it a common choice on Swiss-style and micro-machining setups where compact tooling is necessary. Bright uncoated finish makes it appropriate for use in aluminum, brass, copper, and soft steels where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8-inch shank collet. Fits standard ER and precision collet systems sized for miniature end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet to the depth recommended by the collet manufacturer, leaving no more than the minimum necessary shank exposed. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, as excessive runout at this diameter range can cause premature tool breakage.
