The ACCUPRO 12277074 is a solid carbide, single-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.065-inch cutting diameter and a 0.097-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in slots, pockets, and profiling passes. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. Micrograin carbide construction delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for high-speed, small-diameter applications. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in tool and die, mold making, or precision part machining are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring small-diameter tooling. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders. At 1.5 inches overall length, the tool provides rigid reach for micro-milling work without sacrificing deflection resistance. The bright, uncoated finish makes it appropriate for general-purpose cutting where specialized coating is not required. Applications include slotting, contouring, and profiling in aluminum, brass, plastics, and mild steels at appropriate feeds and speeds.
Designed to fit standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring small-diameter solid carbide end mills. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-CC-30H series.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per shop safety procedures. Ensure the collet and tool holder are clean and within specification before seating the shank. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping to confirm concentricity. Small-diameter carbide end mills are brittle and should not be used with excessive radial depth of cut or improper feed rates, as breakage can occur.
