The ACCUPRO 12276867 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. With a 0.09 inch cutting diameter and a 17/64 inch (0.27 inch) length of cut, this tool is suited for tight-tolerance profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling in confined areas. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finish. Micrograin carbide construction provides the edge retention and rigidity needed for demanding cutting applications. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals and general-purpose machining where coating is not required.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and similar machine tool setups where small-diameter tooling is required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and tool holders common in precision shops. With a 1-1/2 inch overall length and regular length classification, this tool balances rigidity with reach. It is a single-end, centercutting design, meaning it can be plunged directly into material as well as used for conventional side milling. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC operators working on small-feature workpieces will find this a direct-fit selection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting 1/8 inch shank, small-diameter solid carbide end mills.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians using an appropriately sized collet or end mill holder rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after seating the tool in the holder, as small-diameter carbide end mills are sensitive to even minor concentricity errors. Do not overtighten the collet nut beyond the tool holder specification, as excessive clamping force can fracture carbide shanks.
