The ACCUPRO 12276826 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.049-inch cutting diameter and a 0.147-inch length of cut, this micro-size end mill is built for tight-tolerance work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The four-flute geometry provides a balance of chip evacuation and surface finish quality. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces deflection at small diameters. The bright uncoated finish suits applications where coating interaction with the workpiece is a concern. Machinists and CNC operators working with precision components, mold features, or small-bore slots will find this tool suited to demanding close-tolerance work.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where micro-diameter tooling is required. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders common in most shops. With a 1.5-inch overall length and single-end configuration, it provides adequate reach while maintaining rigidity at this diameter. Micrograin carbide construction supports use in harder materials where high-speed steel tooling would deflect or wear prematurely. Typical applications include slotting, profiling, and finishing passes on precision parts in aerospace, medical, and general machining environments.
Designed for use with standard 0.125-inch ID collets and end mill holders in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-CC-30H series of solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder to the minimum engagement depth recommended for the holder type, and torque the retention mechanism per the holder manufacturer specification. At micro diameters, excessive runout or improper clamping will accelerate tool breakage — verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts.
