The ACCUPRO 12184211 is a single-end ball end mill designed for contouring, profiling, and 3D milling operations in machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool measures 0.125 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 2.25-inch overall length. Its 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With two flutes and a right-hand spiral flute direction, this end mill is suited for general-purpose finish and semi-finish milling. It ships uncoated and is ready to run without additional surface treatment.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter, high-precision cutting is required. It is a long-length tool, making it well suited for reaching into pockets or profiling features with moderate depth requirements. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and mold makers will find this diameter class useful for detail work in dies, molds, and complex 3D part geometries. The 0.125-inch shank diameter matches the cutting diameter, allowing use in standard 1/8-inch collets or collet chucks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-procurement tool for CNC machining centers and manual mills using 1/8-inch collets or collet chucks in standard ER or TG toolholding systems.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the minimum engagement depth recommended by the toolholder manufacturer and torque the collet nut to the toolholder specification. Verify runout at the cutting diameter after installation before beginning a cut.
