The ACCUPRO 12184207 is a single-end ball end mill designed for contour milling, profiling, and 3D surface work in machining operations. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it delivers heat resistance and wear life in demanding cutting applications. The 3/4 inch mill diameter pairs with a 1 inch length of cut and a 40-degree helix angle, which promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With two flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, this tool suits a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and CNC operators in production shops and job shops are the primary users.
This ball end mill is suited for CNC machining centers performing contour and profile work in mold making, die work, and general precision machining. The stub length type keeps deflection low during aggressive passes. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
