The ACCUPRO 12184179 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hard materials. It measures 0.433 inches (11 mm) in diameter with a 0.5512-inch (14 mm) length of cut and a 40-degree helix angle. The cutting geometry uses two right-hand spiral flutes with a micrograin carbide substrate, providing rigidity and edge retention in demanding applications. An AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-speed and dry machining environments. This is a single-end, stub-length tool with a 12 mm shank diameter and a 76 mm overall length.
This ball end mill is suited for contour milling, profiling, and 3D surfacing operations on CNC machining centers. The stub-length configuration reduces deflection and improves rigidity in shorter reach applications.
