The ACCUPRO 12183899 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0591 inch (1.50 mm) mill diameter and a 0.2362 inch (6.00 mm) length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work in tight geometries. The 2-flute, right-hand spiral design promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The 40-degree helix angle supports aggressive material removal while maintaining surface finish quality. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide, the tool holds tight tolerances and delivers consistent performance in production environments. It ships as a single-end tool in a quantity of one.
This ball end mill is suited for contouring, profiling, and slotting operations on hardened steels, alloy steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials. The small diameter makes it well-suited for intricate mold and die work, aerospace components, and precision fixture machining. The bright uncoated finish is appropriate for applications where coating is not required or where the workpiece material is sensitive to coated tooling. Machinists in job shops, toolrooms, and production facilities use this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Designed as a direct-use solid carbide ball end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with a collet or tool holder accepting a 3.00 mm shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or collet system is locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Confirm the collet bore matches the 3.00 mm shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the correct gauge length before running. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as micrograin carbide tools at this diameter are sensitive to chipping from improper handling.
