The ACCUPRO 12183612 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius, and 4 right-hand spiral flutes, this tool produces accurate profiles while reducing edge chipping at corners. The micrograin carbide substrate supports high cutting speeds and extended tool life compared to standard carbide grades. At 6 inches overall length with a 2 inch length of cut, it suits deep-reach applications where standard-length end mills fall short. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual mills for contouring, slotting, and profiling cuts.
This end mill is suited for production and job-shop environments requiring consistent corner radius geometry in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, giving operators flexibility for pocketing operations without a pre-drilled entry point. The bright uncoated finish makes it appropriate for applications where coating compatibility with the workpiece material or cutting fluid is a concern. It is a single-end, long-length tool intended for setups where extended reach is needed without sacrificing rigidity at 3/4 inch shank diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank toolholder.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and energy isolated per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the 3/4 inch shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder to the toolholder manufacturer's specified clamping torque range. Inspect the collet and holder bore for runout before use, as excessive runout accelerates tool wear and degrades corner radius accuracy. This tool should be set up and operated by a qualified machinist familiar with speeds, feeds, and depth-of-cut parameters for solid carbide end mills.
