The ACCUPRO 12182965 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and engineered materials. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent cutting performance and edge retention under demanding conditions. The TiCN coating reduces friction and improves wear resistance, extending tool life in abrasive applications. With a 40-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry, the tool promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into a workpiece. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with CNC mills, vertical machining centers, and manual knee mills rely on this style of end mill for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling.
This end mill suits general-purpose and finish milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3/4-inch diameter and 1-inch length of cut make it appropriate for moderate-depth slots and shoulder passes. The stub-length classification keeps the tool rigid, reducing deflection in tight tolerances. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for the majority of CNC and manual vertical milling setups. It is sold individually and fits directly into standard 3/4-inch collets, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholders.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 3/4-inch shank square end mill applications in CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills using 3/4-inch collets or end mill holders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Verify collet or holder bore size matches the 3/4-inch shank diameter before clamping. Inspect the tool shank and holder for debris or damage before seating; do not overtighten collet nuts beyond the manufacturer-specified torque range for the holder style in use.
