The ACCUPRO 12182929 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 5/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.01 inch corner radius that produces a controlled edge break or fillet on workpiece features. With 4 flutes and a right-hand spiral flute direction, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding cutting applications. This tool is single-end and centercutting, allowing plunge entry as well as peripheral milling.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and vertical mills across job shops, toolrooms, and production environments. Its stub length geometry and 1/2 inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholding systems. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for general-purpose milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials where coating is not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. Machinists and CNC operators performing contour milling, slotting, and profiling operations are the primary users.
Designed for use with standard 1/2 inch bore end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and shrink-fit toolholding systems on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all axis motion is disabled before loading or changing tooling. Verify the shank is fully seated in the holder to the minimum engagement depth recommended by the toolholder manufacturer, and apply appropriate torque to set screws or collet nuts using the correct wrench. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
