The ACCUPRO 12182363 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, a 0.0900-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute spiral geometry with a 40-degree helix angle. The cutting edges are finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, which improves hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated carbide. With a 1-3/4-inch length of cut and a 4-inch overall length, this tool is suited for peripheral milling, slotting, and profiling where a radiused corner edge is required. It is centercutting and runs in a right-hand cutting direction. Installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is used in milling applications requiring a controlled corner radius to reduce stress concentrations and improve surface finish on workpiece edges. It is appropriate for machining ferrous metals, stainless steels, and hardened materials where TiCN coating provides the thermal and abrasion resistance needed. The micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances and consistent edge performance across high-speed CNC milling runs. Single-end configuration makes it a standard replacement tool for tooling inventories.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1-inch straight shank end mill with right-hand cutting direction.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully in a collet or end mill holder before operation, verifying runout with a dial indicator where tolerances are critical. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for feed rate and spindle speed when running TiCN-coated carbide end mills on specific materials.
