The ACCUPRO 12182324 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 0.0394-inch (1.00 mm) cutting diameter and a 0.1575-inch (4.00 mm) length of cut, this tool is engineered for micro-milling applications where tight tolerances and consistent finish quality are required. The four-flute, spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle balances chip evacuation and surface finish performance. An AlTiN coating provides thermal and abrasion resistance for extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. Machinists and CNC operators in tool-and-die, mold making, and precision fabrication shops are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers performing fine-detail work in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard materials. The micro diameter makes it well-suited for intricate pocket milling, slotting, and contouring where larger tooling cannot access. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, giving the operator flexibility in programming tool paths without requiring a pre-drilled entry point. The regular-length profile and 3.00 mm shank diameter make it compatible with standard collet and end mill holder setups used in high-speed micro-machining operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for CNC machining centers accepting a 3.00 mm shank diameter with standard collet or end mill holder systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Use an appropriately sized collet or end mill holder rated for the 3.00 mm shank diameter, and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run. At this micro diameter, excessive overhang or improper seating can result in tool breakage.
