The ACCUPRO 12182290 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.5 inch cutting diameter, 1 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length, this is a long-length configuration suited to deeper reach operations. The micrograin solid carbide substrate delivers hardness and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. A titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Three spiral flutes with a 40-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action.

This end mill fits standard milling operations on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills. Its centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, making it suitable for slot milling, profiling, and pocket operations where a direct plunge start is required.
