The ACCUPRO 12182135 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. It features a 3/4-inch mill diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 0.03-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding applications. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance, while the TiCN coating improves surface hardness and reduces friction during cutting. This is a single-end, centercutting tool with a right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction, suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is well suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a radiused corner is required at the base of a pocket or step. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a 3/4-inch shank diameter and 4-inch overall length, it mounts directly in standard collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholders common to vertical and horizontal machining centers. It is appropriate for production shops, tool rooms, and job shops requiring consistent corner geometry and tight dimensional tolerances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for standard 3/4-inch bore end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge line and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and degrade corner radius accuracy.
