The ACCUPRO 12182035 is a single-end corner radius end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it delivers extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The 0.02-inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and produces consistent corner geometry on finished workpieces. With a 3/8-inch diameter, 7/8-inch length of cut, and 3 right-hand spiral flutes at a 40-degree helix angle, this tool is suited for aggressive material removal with good chip evacuation. It is centercutting, allowing plunge operations without a pre-drilled entry hole.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills for slotting, profiling, and finishing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The AlTiN coating makes it particularly effective in hard steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temp alloys where heat buildup is a concern. The 3/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling commonly found in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining operations. It is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working to tight dimensional tolerances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use end mill compatible with any machine tool spindle accepting a 3/8-inch shank via ER collet chuck, end mill holder, or equivalent workholding.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop or lock-out state before mounting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type being used, and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
