The ACCUPRO 12181590 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.1378-inch (3.50 mm) mill diameter and a 0.2756-inch (7.00 mm) length of cut, this stub-length tool is built for controlled, short-reach operations where rigidity matters. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited to tight-tolerance work. Two right-hand spiral flutes with a 40-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms.
This end mill is well suited for slotting, profiling, and pocketing in ferrous and non-ferrous materials at small diameters. The stub length design reduces deflection and improves accuracy in shallow-depth cuts. The uncoated finish makes it appropriate for use in materials where coating chemistry is a concern or where regrinding is planned. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration follows standard spindle conventions on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The 4.00 mm (approximately 0.157-inch) shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders designed for that size range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 4.00 mm shank diameter in standard collet or end mill holder systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following machine tool safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the retention hardware to the tool holder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, particularly at small diameters where deflection has a proportionally larger effect on tolerances.
