The ACCUPRO 12181508 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where a controlled edge radius and sharp cutting performance are required. It features a 5/8 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.03 inch corner radius that reduces edge chipping and extends tool life on hardened or abrasive workpieces. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A TiCN coating adds surface hardness and thermal resistance, making this tool well suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is sold as a single-end, centercutting tool for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills.

This end mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, tool and die, mold making, and production manufacturing. The centercutting geometry allows plunge milling as well as conventional peripheral and slot milling. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for the majority of CNC vertical machining center setups.
