The ACCUPRO 12181234 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining applications. With a 1/16 inch cutting diameter, a 3/16 inch length of cut, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, this tool is built for small-feature work where tight tolerances and clean geometry matter. The micrograin carbide substrate supports edge sharpness and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. A TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and CNC operators working on precision components, mold features, or fine detail cuts will find this end mill suited to those demands.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter tooling is required. Its regular length classification and compact overall length of 1.5 inches make it appropriate for applications with limited clearance or shallow cavity work. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. It is sold individually and fits standard 1/8 inch collet or tool holder setups common in small-part machining environments.
Designed as a standard-shank square end mill compatible with 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and conventional milling machines accepting small-diameter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or collet system is de-energized before inserting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for damage before each use, as small-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to chipping from improper handling or incorrect feeds and speeds.
