The ACCUPRO 12180399 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges in precision machining operations. With a 0.1 inch corner radius, 3/8 inch mill diameter, and four flutes, this tool generates smooth, accurate edge contours on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life and reducing per-edge tooling cost. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Machinists and toolroom technicians working in job shops, aerospace, or general manufacturing environments are the primary users of this tool type.
This end mill is suited for contouring and rounding operations on milled components where sharp edges must be relieved to a controlled radius. The uncoated bright finish makes it a practical choice for general-purpose applications and is compatible with a wide range of cutting fluids and coolant strategies. The 3/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders common in vertical machining centers and CNC milling machines. The tip diameter of 0.17 inches defines the minimum feature size this tool can reach in confined areas.
Designed as a standard replacement or stock corner rounding end mill for CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter via ER collet or end mill holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before tool changes. Seat the shank fully in the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use and verify runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required.
