The ACCUPRO 12180355 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce smooth, consistent radius profiles on metal workpieces. It carries a 0.14 inch corner radius and a 3/8 inch mill diameter, making it well-suited for light-to-medium contouring and edge-breaking operations on precision components. The cutting geometry features two right-hand flutes with right-hand cutting direction, ground from solid carbide for rigidity and wear resistance. A titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in abrasive or hardened materials. The double-end design effectively doubles the usable cutting life before the tool is retired, lowering cost-per-edge on production runs.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills running ferrous and non-ferrous stock. It is appropriate for aerospace, automotive, and general precision machining applications where radiused edges are required to reduce stress concentrations, improve part aesthetics, or meet print callouts.
