The ACCUPRO 12180339 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to machine precise radius profiles on workpiece edges. With a 0.094 inch corner radius and a 0.250 inch mill diameter, this double-end tool generates consistent, repeatable edge geometry on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. The two-flute right-hand configuration supports efficient chip evacuation in lighter cuts and finishing passes. The bright uncoated carbide surface suits applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals reach for this style of end mill when a controlled radius blend is required between two surfaces without the need for a separate deburring or filing operation.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. The double-end design extends usable tool life by providing a second cutting end when the first end reaches wear limits. The 0.250 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders commonly found on vertical machining centers and knee mills. Typical applications include edge profiling on mold components, fixturing plates, structural brackets, and precision machined parts where a radiused corner is specified on the drawing.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch ER collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers, manual vertical mills, and similar machine tools accepting a 1/4 inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a safe state. Secure the 1/4 inch shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder, tightening to the toolholder manufacturer's specified procedure. Inspect both cutting ends for chips or edge damage before use. A licensed machinist or qualified CNC operator should verify speeds and feeds against the workpiece material and machine rigidity before beginning a cut.
