The ACCUPRO 12179702 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide stock, it carries a zirconium nitride (ZrN) finish that increases surface hardness and reduces friction during cutting. The 3-flute spiral geometry with a 40-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and improves surface finish on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 3/16 inch in diameter with a 5/8 inch length of cut, this tool is well suited for slotting, profiling, and light pocket milling in tight workspaces. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.
