The ACCUPRO 12178721 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 5/8-inch diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and 7 variable-index flutes with a right-hand spiral and right-hand cutting direction. The 37-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. An AlTiN coating delivers excellent heat resistance and wear life, making this tool well suited for hard steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult-to-machine materials. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece as well as cut along the periphery.
