The ACCUPRO 12178692 is a 7-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-efficiency milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built from micrograin carbide with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating, this tool delivers excellent wear resistance and heat tolerance when cutting hardened steels, stainless, and other difficult alloys. The 3/8 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1-1/4 inch length of cut and a 3 inch overall length, making it well-suited for moderate-depth slotting, profiling, and finishing passes. A 37.5-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces.
