The ACCUPRO 12178659 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it carries an AlTiN coating that extends tool life under high-heat cutting conditions. The 1/4 inch diameter cutter features 5 flutes with a right-hand spiral and right-hand cut, a 0.02 inch corner radius, and a 40-degree helix angle. Single-end configuration with centercutting capability allows for plunge entry as well as standard peripheral and slot milling. Machinists and toolroom operators install this end mill in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines where tight corner radii and fine surface finish are required.

This end mill is suited for finish milling, profiling, and contouring operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened materials where AlTiN coating performance is an advantage.
