The ACCUPRO 12178640 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. Measuring 0.25 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 2.5-inch overall length, this tool features five flutes and a 0.0100-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at part edges. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in high-speed and dry-cutting operations. This end mill is single-end, center-cutting, and uses right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction.
