The ACCUPRO 12177385 is a 7-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length with a 1/4 inch shank. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and hardness for dry or semi-dry cutting in ferrous and hardened materials. Spiral fluting with a 37.5-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces chatter. The micrograin carbide substrate supports edge integrity at elevated cutting speeds. A licensed machinist or CNC toolroom technician installs and runs this tool in a milling machine or machining center.

This end mill is suited for finish and semi-finish milling passes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened alloys.
