The ABB tc150x150a is a four-way cable tie mounting base designed for organizing and securing wire bundles in electrical and low-voltage wiring applications. Molded from Nylon 6.6, it accepts cable ties from four directions, eliminating orientation errors when positioning the base relative to a wire bundle. The base measures 1.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide by 0.290 inches tall and supports both self-adhesive and screw mounting methods. The mounting hole accommodates a No. 8 screw. Rated for operating temperatures from -40 degrees F to 185 degrees F, it suits a wide range of indoor and outdoor installation environments.
This mounting base is used in residential, commercial, and industrial wiring installations where cable tie bundles must be anchored to a surface. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install it on panels, enclosures, conduit trays, equipment frames, and structural surfaces. The four-entry design allows wire bundles to approach the mount from any direction, making it useful in tight or multi-axis routing layouts. It ships in bulk pack quantity, making it practical for projects requiring multiple mount points.
Designed as a standard cable tie mounting base compatible with cable ties that fit a four-way entry base configuration. Suitable for use with ABB Ty-Rap brand cable ties and similar-width ties from other manufacturers where entry dimensions are compatible.
Electricians and low-voltage technicians typically install cable tie mounting bases as part of wire management work governed by NEC guidelines. Before installation, ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry if using the adhesive backing. When using the screw mount method, select fastener length appropriate for the substrate to avoid damage to wiring behind panel surfaces. Do not overtighten the screw, as Nylon hardware can crack under excessive torque.
