The ABB dj4x1c-100 is a Riser-Gard flexible corrugated conduit designed for fiber optic cable routing in vertical riser and general raceway applications. Manufactured from PVC, this orange-colored conduit ships as a 100-foot coil with pull tape pre-installed, saving labor time during fiber pulls. It carries a 2-inch trade size with an outside diameter of 2.38 inches and an inside diameter of 2 inches, giving installers a clear, predictable bore for cable management. The corrugated wall construction allows the conduit to flex around obstructions while maintaining a 12-inch minimum bending radius. UL Listed under standard UL e151168 for both the United States and Canada. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers.
This conduit is suited for residential and commercial fiber optic riser installations where a flexible, non-metallic raceway is required. The orange color provides quick visual identification as a fiber optic pathway, distinguishing it from standard electrical conduit runs. Pre-installed pull tape eliminates a separate pull-tape fishing step, making it practical for new construction wiring, building riser shafts, and conduit-stub installations where pulling fiber or low-voltage cabling is the primary task. The 100-foot coil length accommodates multi-story riser runs without mid-run splices in many common building heights.
Designed as an OEM-style flexible non-metallic raceway for fiber optic and low-voltage cable installations requiring a 2-inch trade size corrugated conduit.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified low-voltage cabling contractor in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the work area before routing conduit near live electrical infrastructure. Maintain the 12-inch minimum bending radius at all bends to prevent kinking and to protect cables during and after the pull. Secure the conduit at intervals per NEC requirements for flexible raceways and verify that all fittings used are rated for non-metallic corrugated conduit.
