Ay McDonald 5142-123 is a lead-free brass IPPE (IPS compression) x MNPT straight adapter for cold potable water service. The 1 in adapter uses EPDM rubber gaskets in the compression fitting and is manufactured to meet AWWA C800. Brass components in contact with potable water conform to ASTM B584 UNS C89833 and are certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372.
