The 3M KP87601 is a coated abrasive quick-change disc designed for use with Roloc TR and Type R attachment systems. Running at a maximum rated speed of 20,000 RPM, this 3-inch disc carries a 60-grit aluminum oxide abrasive bonded to a polyester cloth backing with YF backing weight. The medium-grade aluminum oxide cut is suited for aggressive material removal on metal surfaces including weld grinding, surface prep, and blending operations. It attaches and releases without tools, making disc swaps fast during production or repair work.

This disc is used in metal fabrication shops, automotive body repair, and general industrial maintenance environments.
