The 3M 7100291543 is a Scotch-Brite Roloc Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel engineered for industrial metalworking professionals who need a single wheel capable of deburring, finishing, and blending. Graded 9C Extra Coarse, this wheel is built for heavy deburring and light weld removal. It measures 3 inches in diameter by 1/4 inch wide and mounts via the 3M Roloc Attachment System for fast tool-free changeouts. The 9C grade incorporates Precision-Shaped Grain technology, combining ceramic-hardness material with self-sharpening grain geometry to sustain cutting performance and extend wheel life through demanding production cycles.
This wheel is suited for industrial and manufacturing environments where metalworkers, machinists, and fabricators process components that require aggressive burr removal or light weld blending in a single setup. Typical applications include work on threaded pipes, rotors, shrouds, buckets, ducting, titanium, turbine blades, machined parts, stainless steel, TIG weld blending, machine gears, and similar components. Sold in cases of 40, this SKU is appropriate for production-volume operations where consistent wheel supply and rapid changeouts are priorities.
Designed for use with 3M Roloc-compatible right-angle grinders and die grinders that accept TR-style quick-change mandrels. Suited for metalworking applications involving stainless steel, titanium, machined parts, and weld areas as described in application notes.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, or tool room technicians using a Roloc-compatible mandrel mounted in a right-angle or straight die grinder. Before mounting or removing any abrasive wheel, power down and disconnect or de-energize the tool. Verify the grinder RPM rating meets or exceeds the wheel RPM rating before operation. Eye protection, hearing protection, and appropriate respiratory PPE should be in use any time abrasive wheels are running.
