The 3M 7100213359 is a P100-rated particulate filter designed for use with 3M Secure Click half and full facepiece respirators. It uses proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media consisting of highly charged microfibers in an open formation that captures airborne particles while reducing breathing resistance. The dual-flow design distributes airflow across both sides of the filter for easier breathing during extended wear. These filters are both flame resistant and water resistant, making them suitable for demanding industrial environments. Installation is tool-free: align the filter to the facepiece connection points and press until an audible click confirms a secure seat.
These filters are suited for a wide range of industrial and construction applications including grinding, sanding, welding, brazing, and cutting operations. They are effective against solid particulates from mineral processing, coal, iron ore, cotton, and flour. They also address liquid and oil-based aerosols from sprays that do not emit harmful vapors, metal fumes from heating operations, radioactive particulates such as uranium and plutonium, and asbestos fibers. These filters are for workplace and occupational use only. They are not rated for use in immediately dangerous to life or health environments, sandblasting, or atmospheres containing hazardous levels of organic vapors or acid gases.
Designed for use with 3M Secure Click half and full facepiece respirators that accept the Secure Click filter connection style. Verify facepiece compatibility with the Secure Click interface before installation.
Installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified safety professional or trained worker following the employer respiratory protection program. Power down or de-energize equipment and vacate the contaminated area before changing filters when possible. Align the filter connection to the facepiece port and press firmly until a click is heard and felt on both sides. Replace filters when they become visibly soiled, physically damaged, or noticeably harder to breathe through. If used exclusively in oil aerosol environments, replace after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever comes first.
