The 3M 7100177442 is a no-cleanup rocker panel chip-resistant coating that delivers a tough, paintable, beige-colored protective surface wherever stone chip damage is a concern. Supplied in a 22 fl oz can, it comes with an assembled plastic dip tube that inserts directly into the can and fits the 3M No Cleanup Applicator Gun 08801. Because the disposable dip tube and nozzle keep product from contacting the gun body, no solvent cleaning is required after use. The coating produces a smooth to medium texture with an orange peel finish and must be applied over a 2K epoxy primer for proper adhesion. Once dry, it accepts automotive refinish paints applied over the top.
