Built on an X-weight polyester-cotton cloth backing, the disc features 3M Precision Shaped Grain that shears material cleanly rather than grinding it, sustaining a sharp cutting edge throughout the disc life. A built-in grinding aid reduces heat buildup at the contact zone, protecting workpiece finish and extending disc life. Resin bonding material adds further heat resistance and helps prevent surface discoloration during high-pressure applications. The Hookit attachment system allows fast disc changes without tools.
