This disc is used in collision repair, commercial and specialty vehicle refinishing, and marine surface preparation. Attach the disc to a clean, dry 5-inch hook-and-loop backing pad before powering on the sander. Inspect the backing pad hooks for wear before each use — a worn pad reduces disc retention and can cause disc separation during operation. Ensure the sander is powered off and disconnected before changing discs. Dispose of worn discs and do not reuse discs that show signs of loading, tearing, or delamination.
