Thread the pad onto the sander spindle by hand until snug using the 5/16-24 external thread interface. Ensure the sander is powered off and disconnected from any air or electrical supply before installing or removing the pad. Inspect the foam face for wear or deformation before each use, as a damaged pad face will affect disc adhesion and finish quality. Do not exceed the abrasive grade range specified for this pad.
