Built with an aluminum oxide (AO) grain in a coarse grade, it cuts aggressively through hardened sealant and compressed gasket material. The open-web, non-woven fiber construction allows heat to dissipate during use, making the disc effective on both steel and aluminum surfaces without marring or distorting the workpiece. The Roloc quick-change threaded attachment mounts and dismounts in seconds, which suits multi-step surface preparation workflows common in engine, compressor, and mechanical assembly environments.
