The 3M 7010365692 Scotch-Brite Deburr and Finish PRO Unitized Wheel is a nonwoven abrasive wheel engineered for metalworking professionals who need a single tool capable of deburring, finishing, and blending in one operation. Built with 3M Precision-Shaped Grain ceramic abrasive, the wheel cuts fast and sharp to remove burrs efficiently. Its unitized construction bonds the abrasive throughout the wheel body, maintaining consistent performance as the wheel wears down. At 4 inches in diameter and weighing 1.94 pounds, it is sized for use in fixed industrial grinding and robotic processing setups.
This wheel is intended for moderate to heavy deburring and surface finishing on metal workpieces in industrial and manufacturing environments. Its nonwoven open construction allows dust and debris to escape during operation, reducing loading and extending usable life. The conformable structure keeps the abrasive in contact with contoured or complex-shaped parts, making it well suited for automated and robotic finishing lines as well as manual bench grinder setups. It serves as a direct alternative to cartridge rolls, flap wheels, flap discs, and coated abrasive discs where multi-step processes have previously been required.
Designed for use on metal workpieces in industrial metalworking, fabrication, and robotic finishing applications requiring moderate to heavy deburring and surface finishing.
Installation and mounting should be performed by qualified personnel following the grinder or arbor manufacturer's specifications and all applicable ANSI B7 safety standards for abrasive wheels. Always power down and de-energize the grinding unit before mounting or removing the wheel. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and never exceed the rated operating speed. Appropriate eye protection, face shield, and respiratory PPE should be worn during operation.
