The 3M 7010365647 is a unitized aluminum oxide deburring wheel designed for precision deburring, blending, and light surface finishing in metal fabrication and maintenance applications. Built with a Density 5 construction and aluminum oxide abrasive, this wheel delivers consistent cutting action across a range of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It is rated to a maximum of 40,100 RPM, making it suitable for use with high-speed rotary tooling. The compact 3/4-inch diameter and 1/8-inch face width allow it to reach tight geometries and small-bore applications. Machinists, tool and die technicians, and fabricators typically specify this wheel for deburring cut edges, weld seams, and drilled holes.
This deburring wheel is used in industrial and shop environments where consistent material removal and surface blending are required without aggressive stock removal. Its unitized construction holds the abrasive throughout the wheel body, providing a relatively uniform finish rate as the wheel wears. Tooling compatibility includes centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. The 1/8-inch center hole size fits standard mandrel and spindle configurations common to these machine types.
Designed for use with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands equipped with a spindle or mandrel accepting a 1/8-inch center hole.
Installation is performed by machinists or fabricators familiar with abrasive tooling. Before mounting, power down and de-energize the tool completely and verify the spindle RPM rating does not exceed 40,100 RPM. Seat the wheel securely on a compatible mandrel and confirm the center hole engagement is snug with no lateral play before operating. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow ANSI B7.1 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting and use.
