The 3M 7010365001 is a Trizact 237AA coated abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh abrasive mineral is continuously exposed at the cutting surface. This self-sharpening action delivers a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish from start to finish. The belt measures 168 inches in length and 6 inches in width and is suited for automated and robotic grinding lines as well as manual finishing operations.
This belt is used in metal finishing environments where a controlled, repeatable surface finish is required before downstream processes such as plating, buffing, or coating. The flexible X-weight cloth backing conforms to contoured workpiece surfaces, making it appropriate for shaped parts and irregular profiles. It is commonly used in industrial fabrication shops, aerospace component finishing, automotive parts manufacturing, and metal service centers. Minimum order quantity is 20 belts per unit of measure.
