The 3M 7010361113 is a coated abrasive disc roll designed for sanding applications where fast disc changes and consistent surface finishing are required. Built on a C-weight paper backing, this roll delivers the durability needed for aggressive material removal while resisting premature wear. The aluminum oxide abrasive mineral cuts quickly and holds up across a range of workpiece materials. A load-resistant coating extends abrasive life by reducing buildup on the disc face. Each roll is formatted for use with a compatible Stikita backup pad, sold separately, which accepts the pressure-sensitive adhesive backing on each disc.
This disc roll is suited for woodworking, metal fabrication, and general surface preparation tasks at the finishing stage. The P220 grit classification makes it appropriate for fine sanding passes, scratch refinement, and surface smoothing prior to coating or finishing. Trade users in cabinet shops, body shops, and general fabrication environments will find the roll format eliminates the disc liner waste associated with individually packaged discs, keeping the work area cleaner and reducing changeover time during production runs.
Designed for use with 3M Stikita backup pads that accept 5-inch pressure-sensitive adhesive discs, sold separately.
Disc rolls should be loaded onto a compatible Stikita backup pad mounted to a random orbital or disc sander rated for 5-inch abrasives. Ensure the sander is powered off and unplugged before mounting or removing discs. Align the disc squarely on the pad face and apply firm hand pressure across the surface to ensure full adhesive contact before starting the tool. Avoid applying the disc to a warm or contaminated pad face, as adhesion quality directly affects disc tracking and finish consistency.
