The 3M 7010334045 is an adhesive transfer tape using 3M 200MP acrylic adhesive on a 4.2 mil PCK layflat liner. It is designed for bonding metals and high surface energy (HSE) plastics in industrial and graphic attachment applications. The tape carries a 2 mil nominal adhesive thickness and delivers high shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting during service. The adhesive is temporarily repositionable before final bond, which allows accurate placement without rework. Industrial assembly technicians, graphic installers, and fabrication shops use this tape in both production and field settings.
This tape is suited for general industrial joining, sign and graphic attachment, and assembly operations where a clean, carrier-free bond line is required. The 0.75 inch width and 60 yard roll length make it practical for hand application or dispenser use in continuous production runs. It maintains bond integrity after exposure to humidity and cycling through hot and cold temperatures, making it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor assemblies. The PCK layflat liner resists curling and buckling during high-humidity storage, processing, and shipping.
Designed for bonding metals and high surface energy plastics; well suited for graphic attachment and general industrial joining applications where a carrier-free adhesive transfer tape is required.
Surface preparation is critical for adhesive transfer tapes — clean bonding surfaces thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before application. Apply firm, even pressure across the tape to ensure full contact and activate the bond. Once the final bond is set, repositioning is not possible without risk of adhesive failure. Follow the substrate manufacturer and applicable workplace safety guidelines when working with solvents used during surface prep.
