The 3M 7010329400 is a unitized deburring wheel engineered for edge finishing, deburring, and surface blending on metal workpieces. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine grade and density 7 hard construction, it delivers consistent cut and surface finish across repeated passes. The 6-inch diameter and 0.5-inch face width make it well suited to die grinder applications where precise material removal is needed without aggressive stock loss. Rated to 7,500 RPM, this wheel is intended for use by machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die tradespeople working on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This wheel is used in metal fabrication, maintenance, and finishing operations where burrs, sharp edges, or light surface defects need to be removed efficiently. The unitized construction bonds abrasive fibers throughout the wheel body, so the cut rate and surface finish remain relatively stable as the wheel wears down. Die grinder compatibility makes it practical for bench work and in-place finishing on assembled components. It is appropriate for light to moderate deburring tasks on steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar materials.
Designed for use with die grinders. Verify arbor size and RPM rating of the grinder before mounting. Center hole size is 0.5 inches.
Mounting and use should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with abrasive wheel safety. Always confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 7,500 RPM maximum rating of the wheel before operation. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and never operate a damaged wheel. Use the appropriate arbor hardware to ensure the wheel is centered and secured before powering the tool.
