The 3M 7010329397 is an aluminum oxide unitized deburring wheel rated for up to 35,100 RPM. Built to a Density 8 Hard grade, it delivers consistent, moderate-to-aggressive material removal on metal workpieces without loading quickly. The wheel measures 1 inch in diameter with a 0.125-inch face width and a 0.125-inch center hole, making it a compact solution for detail work on edges, welds, and burrs. Machinists, fabricators, and metalworking technicians use this wheel where controlled surface finishing or deburring is required on small or hard-to-reach areas. The unitized construction binds abrasive throughout the wheel body, so cut rate stays relatively consistent through the wheel's service life.
This deburring wheel is designed for use with die grinders, inline sanders, centerless grinders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. Its small diameter and center hole make it appropriate for applications requiring precision deburring on tight geometries or confined workpiece features. Typical applications include weld cleanup, burr removal on drilled or machined holes, and light edge blending on steel, stainless, or other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 8AMED specification code identifies the wheel density, abrasive type, and grade combination for traceability to 3M product standards.
Designed for use with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. Verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 35,100 RPM maximum wheel rating before mounting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified metalworking technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Always power down and de-energize the tool before mounting or removing the wheel. Confirm the arbor size matches the 0.125-inch center hole and that the tool's rated spindle speed does not exceed 35,100 RPM. Inspect the wheel for visible damage before each use and never operate a damaged or cracked abrasive wheel.
