The 3M 7010329393 is an aluminum oxide unitized deburring wheel built for aggressive stock removal and surface finishing on metal workpieces. The wheel measures 6 inches in diameter with a 1/2-inch face width and a 1-inch center hole, fitting standard arbors used on bench grinders and backstands. Rated at 7,500 RPM maximum, it carries a Density 7 hard-grade construction, meaning the abrasive fibers are tightly compacted for consistent cut and extended wheel life under sustained pressure. Licensed tradespeople and metalworking professionals use this wheel for deburring, blending, and light surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous parts.
This wheel is suited for production metalworking and maintenance environments where repeatable deburring results are required. Tooling compatibility includes centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. Its unitized construction holds abrasive grain throughout the wheel body, allowing the cutting surface to continuously renew as the wheel wears. It works effectively on edges, weld seams, and machined surfaces where controlled material removal is needed without aggressive gouging.
Compatible with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands equipped with a 1-inch arbor accepting a 6-inch diameter wheel rated at 7,500 RPM or higher.
Install and service this wheel following all machine-specific guarding and arbor torque requirements per the tool manufacturer. Verify the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 7,500 RPM maximum wheel rating before mounting. Power down and lock out the tool before mounting or removing the wheel. Always use the appropriate eye protection and face shield when operating abrasive wheels, consistent with ANSI B11 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.215 general abrasive wheel standards.
