The 3M 7010329213 is a Scotch-Brite MF-WL Metal Finishing Wheel designed to produce uniform brushed, satin, and mill finishes on metal surfaces. Built with a convolute construction wound around a fiber core, it delivers consistent abrasive cutting action while running cool and smooth. The open-web aluminum oxide construction resists loading, reducing heat buildup during operation. At 12 inches in diameter with a 5 inch arbor, this wheel is sized for stationary bench or pedestal finishing equipment. It is used by metalworking fabricators, plumbing fixture finishers, and trade shop technicians who require repeatable surface results on stainless steel, brass, and aluminum.
This finishing wheel is suited for blending and matching 3 or 4 mill finishes on stainless steel, as well as creating brushed or satin finishes on cutlery, appliance trim, builders hardware, and plumbing fixtures. The highly conformable construction allows the wheel to follow irregular, contoured, or formed surfaces without gouging or undercutting the base material. It performs effectively on stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals in both fabrication shop and production finishing environments.
Designed for use on stationary bench or pedestal finishing machines accepting a 5 inch arbor. Compatible with stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metal workpieces requiring satin, brushed, or mill surface finishes.
Installation should be performed by qualified shop technicians familiar with abrasive wheel safety. Always power down and lock out the finishing machine before mounting or removing the wheel. Verify that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the maximum rated RPM marked on the wheel. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and never use a wheel that shows cracks, chips, or uneven wear.
