This disc is used in industrial grinding and finishing operations on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. Installation is performed by trade fabricators or finishing technicians operating disc sanders or platen grinders. Before mounting, ensure the machine is fully powered down and the platen or backup pad surface is clean and free of adhesive residue from prior discs. Press the PSA disc firmly and evenly from center to edge to achieve full adhesive contact and prevent edge lifting during operation. Inspect the disc for tears or delamination before each use and replace if any damage is present.
