The 3M 7010326104 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt built on proprietary microreplication technology. Micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed. The result is a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish throughout the life of the belt. At 75 inches long and 36 inches wide, this belt is sized for wide-platen and large-format grinding and finishing equipment. It weighs 3.18 pounds. Industrial finishing technicians and robotic abrasive system operators are the primary users.
This belt is designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing operations, particularly those that precede plating or buffing. The flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured workpiece surfaces, making it suitable for both flat and profiled stock. The three-dimensional abrasive structure maintains finish consistency across the full belt life, which is especially important in automated and robotic finishing lines where repeatability is a process requirement.
